Col. Bale was elegant whatever he wore. There is one photo of him of the RB canvas show, wearing a duplicate of the traditional Clyde Beatty wardrobe--all white, with a pith helmet, short-sleeved military shirt, jodphurs, and high black boots. He always filled the bill in looks, and his acts were first class--cats, haystock, unicycles, everything he did. His children carried on his legacy of excellence.
