THE GREAT WALLENDAS came to America to join the Ringling Barnum Circus in 1928,
a special poster was created by the artists at the Strobridge Litho Company. It
showed the thrilling act as it actually existed. Truly a
sensation!

Kenny Dodd tells me he was included in a conference concerning the circus in Sarasota, which also involved some non-pros. When Kenny walked in, Johnny Herriott exclaimed, "Thank God! Somebody is finally here who knows the Wallendas never had a flying act!"
