Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus elephants walk down Route 120 toward the Izod Center in March 2013. The Greatest Show on Earth also will be the Last Show at the Izod Center. New Jersey tour stops for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Circus XTREME will still include the arena, parent company Feld Entertainment announced today. The venue will remain open for The Greatest Show On Earth and its scheduled nine shows between March 18 – 22. The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, in voting Thursday to close Izod Center, gave event operators with February or March scheduled performances the option of shifting to the Prudential Center, canceling its shows, or staying put in East Rutherford. Feld chose the latter.
