Busy Day Yesterday!

Jim Elliot picked me up and we went down to our usual Saturday breakfast at Bob's Train in Sarasota. Enjoyed the company of Paul Ingrassia, Larry Allen Dean, Father Jerry Hogan and numerous others. While there we were pleasantly surprised when John Herriott and daughter Cindy stopped by returning from his recent stay at a Recovery Center, he looked great and we cut up some jackpots. Afterward on the way home we swung by the new Feld Facility in Ellenton but despite being situated on the bay all that can be seen from the street is a large structure, that appears to have been included in the purchase, bearing the title "Feld Entertainment (something, something)" but the immensity of the place is totally obscured. There was an old gentleman posted at the gate seated in a chair, holding a stick, I wanted to hop out and ask if he had ever been on the Hagenbeck show but thought better of it. Too much excitement for one day!.....once home I took a nap.
