Emery at the San Antonio Zoo in 1940, I have to take my hat off, after fifty years he could still muscle good sized elephants around.
The lady is Erika Loyal, I suppose this is within the confines of the Zoo.

Great, these photos of Bill Emery! Someday, I hope to find one of my dad with him or the elephants. Dad worked as Tarzan of the Elephants in 1933, with Ringling of Sarasota. I have some shots of him at the Take On All Comers tent, if those would be of interest.
