IVORY #3

This is an example of how far the tusk receeds into the gum. Only the bottom quarter would be evident. It came from "Columbia" one of the "4_Paw Dancing 8". She died in Lancaster in 1933 and my father said the ground was frozen so they covered her with manure and buried her after it warmed up, at which time he removed the tusks.
