IVORY #1 (From Buckles)

This is a piece of one of "Jumbo's" tusks. I was at Circus World back in the 70's and Chappie Fox called me up to the office and introduced me to a gentlemen offering this for sale. Chappie verified it explaining that after Jumbo's death his tusks were removed and some Company chopped them up, did the inscriptions and Barnum & Bailey officials presented them to dignitaries who attended a mock Funeral Service. Can't remember what I paid for it, in fact I can't remember the last time I saw it. I think my wife stashed it in the deposit box.
