Dom Yodice sent me this picture years ago saying it was the best one of this stunt he had.
It was featured in the act Hugo Schmitt brought over from the Hagenbeck Zoo in 1948 in which he laid down under the elephant himself.
This shot includes "Minyak", "Arky" and I think Jeanie Sleeter, probably taken during the GSOE filming. |

Hi Buckles, That is indeed Jeanne Sleeter. This photo while not a movie still from The Greatest Show On Earth was indeed taken during 1951. It may have been used as a reference shot for filming.
