This undated picture from the Rev. David Harris collection shows "Sid" leading the herd to the back door.
Included are Mr. Beatty at right and visitors Jimmy Troy and Sven Cristensen at left, I don't recall ever seeing elephants wearing bracelets on a mud show, maybe it was because of the visitors.

This must be about 1954 as you can see Clyde, Junior (born January 1952) as a toddler by his father's knee.
