After this picture was taken the editor sent the photographer back down to the Madison Square Garden. He wanted a picture of "Anna May's" eye & my face. And we came up with that old pose from years ago. He said it was just what he wanted. And put it on a full page. We felt so honored. But some of the old guard were not pleased at all. "FRED NATHAN" was the one that told me. He was the one that got the PEOPLE & US & AFTER DARK magazines. And he told me he received a $50:00 a week raise for doing that. We were good buddies. I liked him a lot....Again we were very lucky......Barbara.....
