Pretty heady stuff but resulting in considerable grumbling amongst the old guard around the show, I even overheard the Wardrobe Mistress refer to us as "Johnny Come Lately's".
Charly and Araceli were always very nice and Bobby Johnson reveled in all the discord, he thought it was terrific.

I tried to say something to that effect a while back, but I'm not too good at expressing myself. Especially with a touchy subject. My intention was to compliment Barbara.
Unfortunately things hadn't changed in time for Peggy, and she felt it. Even from "acts" that she had been acquainted with years before. It wasn't that they were unfriendly, they just didn't notice her or who she was.
She never opened the letter with her certificate from The Circus Hall of Fame, and when I opened it years later we found her name was spelled wrong. But then so was Mack's years before.
