Tivoli was the creation of Canadian impresario Sergei Sawchyn in 1981. It traveled on about 20 brand-new and specially designed trucks and had a superb performance including James Zoppe's riding act. I was fortunate to see it a couple of times in Toronto before it closed very early in its first season. The equipment was soon sold and Big Apple was the benefactor.

That hinged louvered door ajar
reminds me of fussing with the
gas flame on the dual powered
Dometic fridge especially when
not precisely level
