More Lydia #1 (From Brandon Morris)

I have tried for a long time to get in touch with you. I am Dave Tesch's old elephant handler from his summer runs to York Maine. I worked with Lydia from around 11 and a half untill 2011 when she finally went back to florida. Lydia has been gone for a little while now but the legacy still lives.  I have provided photos for you to show you me working with Lydia up at Yorks Wild Kingdom in the summer months. Feel free to share the photos on your blog - I like to see her legacy live on. I am a avid collector of lydia stuff.. Still trying to get lydias last head dress away from Dave... he says it is being willed to me. I really wish more kids could have the experience I did at such a young age, I had a blast with Lydia.
Thanks for keeping a great blog - when I talk to dave and carmen tesch in a few days I will mention I emailed you.

If you send me your email, I might have some photos of Lydia from 1979, and a couple of stories.

Brandon: You sound past tense in your post. Has Lydia passed away? I too am a Lydia groupie and have a ton of photos taken in the 90's when she blessed me with a hometown visit. I sent a complete set to David T. last year through the York Zoo park office. Tell him to share (wink)! It is wonderful to see other bloggers remembering her and hearing how lucky they have been to know her. Mackey
