"Lydia" #1


D.R. Miller came up with the idea for the Miller-Woodcock elephant act in 1952 well aware that it would not be a major investment but mostly because he liked my father.
I remember my father flying from the show to NYC to check out three baby elephants Trefflich had brought in but he only accepted one ("Fanny") since the other two were in such bad shape.
