Chic, This looks to be one of those wagons with the 3 wheels on the front corners that you mention were hard to turn.
Another wagon with 3 wheels on each corner (perhaps all the "container" wagons have them)
They weren't all that hard but the skidding tires added friction If there were more than 1 in the string it was very noticeable The newer tugs had more power My recollections are from many years ago Hal most likely things are very different nowadays Pulling "container" wagons were a lot different from aluminum upper structure on steel frames My encounter was on Monte Carlo
I believe it was the Monte Carlo unit that 1st used the containers They were supposed to be painted gold but it looked like duckshit Even Elvin's cannon was the same
