This was the vision of the 20th Century-Fox execs, Ruman and Rogel, which never came to be. They had great dreams and extensive plans, but alas, never the means to pull them off. They gave up early on, and the Compound fell into the destructive mis-management of Roy Kabat and the carnies Tex and Ina Scarborough. Roy's wife, Marie, was a signatory to the partnership, but from my observations, was never inclined to see us brought to ruin. She was a friendly, intelligent woman, far unlike Ina Scarborough, who, upon the suicide death of Mabel Stark, claimed to all who would listen, "I railroaded Mabel Stark out of Jungleland." Marie agreed with no such claims, and later wrote that she always felt she and Mabel were friends.

The details in this map hold up
fairly well when you enlarge it
