As I recall he asked me to take this
photo, like he had to ask, Ha .
"This set of pictures just received from Paul indicate a second visit to Roberts Bros. that I had completely forgotten and still don't remember.
I've never owned a cell phone, maybe it belonged to Turtle."

Seldom have I known a circus man more dedicated to his world than Turtle Benson. His love for this elephant was equalled only by his devotion to Circus. His long battle with cancer was cruel, but until the end, he was writing to his friends and receiving visitors. He must be at true peace on the Big Lot.
