From Buckles #1

These two elephants are not to be confused with the later MGM elephants "Happy", "Sally" and "Queen" of Tarzan fame who were imported in 1942.

So apparently the elephants “Queenie” and “Sally” that appeared with Freddie Bartholomew were NOT owned by MGM but by Louis Goebel. It is interesting though that these names were also used for the elephants that arrived in 1942. (Perhaps MGM wanted to maintained some sort of continuity for publicity reasons.)
