Most of you are aware
that July 6th is the 70th anniversary of the 1944 fire that destroyed the
Ringling-Barnum big top during a matinee performance in Hartford, Connecticut.
Over the years, several books have been written about the fire. Here are two that I have found to be
particularly interesting.
