This is Tommy Cooper's rescreened 76 license plate,you can see the letters "INGLING" over the mistake.

 It was originally spelled RINGING BROS.

For the most part Tommy could

function very well in either of

his common conditions but alas

his brushes had no spell check

I believe he started as a clown

& in later life he had a sign

shop in coastal New Jersey with

the title "PBR Signs" in honor

of his brand Pabst Blue Ribbon

He married Pat a Digger Pugh

lady who retired to Gib'town
