My father had a Chicago Agent named Howard Schultz who handled our Barnes & Carruthers fair dates plus the two or three times on Super Circus.
Having just completed my one week D.R. Miller crash course in driving, my memories of the first TV show were eclipsed by those of having to drive an elephant truck in and out of down town Chicago. (Don't even remember seeing Mary Hotline!)
When Sealtest Big Top came around I could drive better but going all the way to Philadelphia was like going to Mars.
That show was done in an armory, plenty of room we pulled the truck right inside.
Had another good band there, led by an old time Circus Musician, Charlie Basile.

Circus of course, but oh that beautiful blonde, even at my somewhat tender age.
Buckles , you got it right. . .
Mary HOTline.
Time marches on. Sad to say, according to the internet, this lovely lady would have turned 88 this coming October.
