Reminds me of move out night when Charly Baumann would invite friends over to his state room.
After the elephants were loaded my wife and I would often drop in, he lived just one car up from us in the Hollywood Hills section.
Araceli was a wonderful hostess and I might add, alcoholic beverages were occasionally served.

It was called "Beverly Hills"

The last car was Hickory Creek

Araceli & Charly had the back

end of the next car with Tito

in the front half & your tribe

had the back two thirds next

to Bobby Johnsen in the front

I had opportunity to travel in

your stateroom a few times when

it was between occupants

The Woodcock entry door had no

vestibule & it utilized Tito's

Only became a problem if they

uncoupled between those cars

That 1st step was a bitch

(I don't recall that happening)

at hand they never ran out of

"occasions"

Small world and show folks always have something to talk about.

We moved to Sarasota 5 years ago.

The lovely Mrs. Naughton had an appointment at the hair dresser who was working on a lady who looked familiar.

The customer looked like Araceli, I thought.

The hair dresser (a retired performer) introduced us and even though I only met Araceli years ago for about 5 minutes we chatted for at least 20 minutes.

I have learned to add extra time for errands because you always run into someone from show business, especially during the winter.

Previous occupants included the

Frank Perry clan & the Bale's

Armando Gaona was able to use

it as a photographic "darkroom"

on various occasions (uh huh)

The 2nd best joint on the train
