Jenda working "Elsie" with Hagen Bros. Circus in 1957 and by chance I happened to spend a few weeks on the show that year with three of Paul Kelly's elephants and got to know him very well.
If I'm correct, Tony and Inga Smaha came to America in 1955 with King Bros. Circus and by 1957 worked for Howard Suesz then no doubt brought Jenda up to work "Elsie" on the Suesz #2 unit.
I might add that during this period Tony trained "Mary", "Sue" and "Ruth" an act that Rex and Barbara later worked.
