I should add the show handled it very well, putting down gravel and dry mulch, as well as sheets of plywood in appropriate spots. They even tried a sump pump in the front yard for awhile, don't recall if that was effective or not. The photos speak for the backyard situation.
They had to make adjustments to the show such as parking the cannon right behind the curtain and leaving out one whole section of end seats so they could permanently place the globe for the run. I wasn't there Thurs or Fri, weather in the area was really bad, but I was there for Sat & Sun performances and the crowds game and attendance was quite good. Curious to me people came wearing everything from flip flops to knee boots.

We're only here today. You come down here tomorrow and all you'll see is popcorn sacks and wagon tracks.

My first year out I was griping about something and this old timer who went back to the Jerry Mugivan days said, "Well, Kid, you wanted to be in show business!"
