Kelly finally decided on this brick archway, especially designed to keep D.R. from parking show trucks on his front lawn.
As it turned out shortly after completion a fire broke out in the basement and the arriving fire truck slammed into it, became wedged beneath and the house was gutted, elephant and all.
In typical Miller fashion, Kelly shrugged it off and had it rebuilt.

Great stuff ! How nice to drink the first cup of coffee and read and see photos of Franzen on the road and Hugo winter quarters.
What elephant burned up in the fire?
The recently mounted elephant head.
