Columbia bandwagon No. 62 was the first parade vehicle acquired by Circus World Museum.
John M. Kelley, founder of the Museum, obtained it from the defunct Cole Bros Circus in 1954.
James A. Bailey, owner of Barnum & Bailey, ordered the wagon from Bode Wagon Co. in Cincinnati in 1902.
After passing from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, it was acquried by Christy Bros. Circus in 1927.
A few years later Cole Bros Circus acquired the wagon and paraded it until they gave up street parades. It then became a ticket wagon.

which is in the Circus World collection in Baraboo, WI

After being with Cole Bros, the Columbia wagon went to circus fan Bill Brinley of Meriden Connecticut. Bill was a model builder whose show was used for advanced promotion of the coming Cole show. This is when William "Hopalong Cassidy" Boyd owned the show. By some arrangement Bill acquired the Columbia wagon and from him it went to Kelly and Circus World Museum

In addition, the number 62 may be a CWM assignment or from the Cole show era. As seen in this picture, the background color behind the carvings is dark, suggesting a date range of 1908 – 1915 after which it was a lighter color. During this time. it carried wagon number 106.
And just to be clear, when built it went to the Forepaugh-Sells show, owned by Bailey and others.
