As Slivers ascended throughout his career he would pass along his old job to his younger brother Pinky Madison, I never knew his real name and in fact only met him one time when we worked together at the Cleveland Grotto date in 1963.
Not an outgoing man like his brother at all.
These two elephants were later in the Diano herd mentioned on yesterday's Blog on which "Dolly" was elaborated on by Jimmy Hall.

My God! Dietch's Zoo, was not 2 miles from where I've been living for the past 63 years. My Dad and I went there often. I even have a photo of Felix Adler in a suit and tie visiting there. I just about cried when it closed. Now has a nursing home and tennis club on the property, damn.
