Here Comes The Circus! #13

For these shots, an Eyemo hand held camera was used, because a regular heavy camera and tripod could not be installed on the perch.

The Bell & Howell EYEMO was a small, hand-held camera with a spring-wound motor that used 100-foot rolls of 35mm film. (At 24 frames per second, 100 feet of 35mm film only allowed about a minute’s worth of filming.) Because of their compact size, EYEMO cameras were popular with newsreel cameramen and documentary filmmakers.
