Here Comes The Circus! #20

During the shooting, 10,000 feet of 35mm film was exposed. After editing, 8mm and 16mm reduction prints were made, and sound was added to the longer 16mm version.

The edited version of HERE COMES THE CIRCUS uses only about 950 feet of 35mm film, so the “shooting ratio” (i.e. film shot to film used) was about 10 to 1. (One wonders what became of the exposed footage that wasn’t used.)
