Gunther apologetically explained that being a RBBB Vice President and in charge of all animals included in that realm, had been instructed to stop by and check things out. In so doing always remained the prefect gentleman, in fact Segrid had me over to their bus a few times for a well received meal. Being the good soldier he was, he even stepped into the ring to assist during my bebut performance, a night to remember, Gunther and I bumping into each other and Jimmy Silverlake yelling from outside the ring....."No! No!...the merry-go-round is next"! The audience seemed to sense the situation and gave us a great round of applause at it's conclusion and after which, we shook hands on the track, indeed a bizarre moment in Circus History.
