Buckles,
Hattie and Kay lived to the 1990s; Barbara and Anna May to the 2000s. What became of Jennie ? Great picture.

She was a hard keeper, tall and lanky, my father called her "Jenny Woodcock".
She was always flighty and in 1958 was sold to Mexico.
Some time after that while showing along the border, she took off, left the lot and managed to swim across the Rio Grande back into Texas.
Quite an International affair at the time.

You can take a girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.

George decided to enter the Service and asked my father for a referral being his last employer.
He has long since retired from the Air Force and haven't heard anything about him in years.
Rex had an older brother named Ben who our Ben was named after.

of our crackerjack border guards

seeing an elephant sauntering up

the riverbank (make a good movie)
