No idea what this is.
My father loved circus parade equipment and was known as an authority on the subject but unfortunately like automobiles, I can't tell a tableau from a telephone pole which once caused Rick Pfening to remark, "It must be a missing gene!"
Fortunately he identified most of his pictures and on this set wrote, "V&H Circus, Eaton, Ohio. May 5, 1942. I assumed the V&H would be Vanderburg and Hall.
The photos are stamped GEORGE HUBLER.

These are the Terrell Jacobs wagons that he collected for his show. Many are now at CWM in Baraboo.

This is a first for me as never have seen wagons loaded on a flat bed truck cross wise.
I have seen wagon like this on a railroad flat car.
Harry in Texas
Bob Parkinson's book "Directory of American Circuses, 1793 to 2000," lists the V&H owners as Vernon Soules and Harold DeRoy.

A wiser head than mine has pointed out that "V&H Circus" only listed in fan literature. The short-lived outfit went by “All American Circus” but not for long.
