This picture gives a better idea of the 1950's big top dimensions.
100 ' across with 7 middle pieces. 1 50' in the center, flanked by a 20 on each side with 2 40's on each end.
No exterior rigging with the exception of a jigger on the back end tied off to the empty canvas spool to take up as much slack as possible.
By the time the Wild West Concert was over at night, the back end blues had been loaded then the two straight job seat trucks would go slowly down the front and back tracks, followed by three elephants in harness taking down the poles.
By the time the trucks exited, the back 3/4 of the tent was already on the ground and bisected while two more elephants outside had already pulled most of the stakes.
Very efficient.

340' long & these dimensions
add up to 350' (what gives)
Normally a 100' round has ends
of 50' each
Perhaps this was a modified
square end top
