Winter Quarters #6

While Barbara and I were visiting Rex on the Hoxie Show he described Myrtle's fan dance as her sauntering around the ring while brushing the fan on each side of her face, peek a boo style, then a dance including a shimmy and concluding with a hind leg stand whereupon she would lower the fan to cover her crotch. Then Rex handed her a sledge hammer handle and said, "I wonder if she remembers any of those cues? After a few commands he yelled "Watch out!" as she began winding up and violently threw it across the tent. Rex laughed and said, "I forgot she was also the pitcher in the baseball number."
