There is also a shot of the zebras racing through the crowded streets,
pulling the chariot.

As the zebras come tearing around a corner, one of them is clearly “going ballistic” and it is a wonder that it didn’t set off the rest of them.
Arent' Zebras notoriously difficult to work with?
Zebras are critically dangerous. On the jungle set of DR. DOLITTLE, Charley Allen's mature male Zulu got cranky one day. We feared he'd bust through the weak eucalyptus pole fence 20th Century-Fox provided, and six of us had lassos on him. I was trying to help Charlie get a halter on him when he cut his head around and gripped my hand in his teeth. In sheer desperation, I yanked it back just as Zulu clenched down with a resounding snap and a toss of his head. If I had not freed my hand, he'd have easily torn it off. My hat is off to anyone who is successful with zebras.
My dad always said they were half mule and half tiger!
Rice Mike does a really good job with his zebras.Last year about this time I met up with them in Frisco and trimmed his four. They stood perfect, more than I can say for the ride ponies...they damn near killed me...
