George Denman #8

This is probably how Denman looked in 1922 when my father worked on camels in the RBBB menagerie in 1922. He told me that when the herd lined up after arriving on the lot you could hear Denman in his high pitched voice, "Give 'em three bales of hay!".....and that was it for 36 elephants until the menagerie was up.....no wonder the Ringlings kept him there so long.
