We went to do the Milwaukee Parade, and Parley & Ernie Baer were there. I went up to Parley and gave him a big hug. He grabbed his chest and said "You have just broken my ribs. But it was worth it. "  "My dear you have on the Globes of Death." " And I can't think of a better way to die." Thus my costume was named. And of course I loved it. Because Parley had done it. They were such a wonderful couple. We thought the world of them. As everyone did that met them.
