In front of the Met on a cold morning, posing with one of the Chinese performers from the show later referred to as "The Year Of Bobby Gibbs".
I enjoyed several operas there, as well as lighter stuff at the nearby Ballet Building? such as "New Moon", "Carousel", etc. as well as "The Nutcracker" with the kids.
I even went so far as to pay $100 for Barbara to see a Julio Inglassia Benefit at Avery Fisher as a surprise on our wedding anniversary.
Quite an evening mingling with all the New York Society who were arriving in limousines while I had only to escort her only about 100 yards from our trailer parked over beside by the Met.

Would have made more impact if
she would have arrived perched
on Miss Anna May better than
any stretch Hummer
That "Ballet Building" had been
the "New York State Theater"
that housed not only the "New
York City Ballet" but also the
recently defunct "New York City
Opera Company" however a few
years back the gazzillionaire
David Koch through enough money
at it to have it named for him
All those years at Lincoln Center and we never made one of your PR events, DRAT.
But we did get you with Jill Clayburgh, Debra Winger and a few others. Great memories.
Since "Lincoln Center" indeed
is situated along a few blocks
of Broadway it is absolutely
correct to claim the Woodcocks
have performed on Broadway
That fact along with about $12
might just get you a coffee at
Starbucks
Chic you're right about arriving on Anna May. That would have outshined all those limos.
The swells may have arrived in their limos, with their tuxedos and furs, but Buckles outshone them all. He arrived with Barbara Woodcock on his arm.
