Can't remember who sent these pictures, I've had them on hand for several years, I like pictures that were taken while in use.
I tried to crop out the borders but couldn't manage to do so with excluding part part of the float.
Considered turning the project over to my highly incompetent staff but thought better of it.
I've mentioned numerous times about my mother and I visiting the show in 1948 when I was 13 and Cap Curtis seating us close enough that when one float passed I locked eyes, ever so briefly, with the most beautiful lady I had ever seen.
My first experience with true love.

We all fall in love with a beautiful lady at that age. And never see her again.
I remember you said even tho Cap Curtis got you passes at the office, some guy immediately appeared asking for two bucks service charge.
