My first recollections of life were between this show, both on the road and winter quarters in York, SC. and the home my grandmother in Hot Springs had recently left us.
I just finished sorting out a set of photos from those days that continued thru 1942.

My father hated dealing with intricate details so when they learned we had inherited a home, my mother took off for Hot Springs to look things over, she closed out the deal and then made arrangements to have it leased out.
I remember she and I making trips there from York every winter so she could check things over.
We later lived there until I got out of High School then opted for the lesser complicated life of Hugo, Oklahoma.
How History repeats itself, I too leave such annoying things as contracts, cars, etc. to others while making important decisions and statements on the Blog plus opinions regarding the upcoming Buccaneers Draft.
