.....the last one up the ramp to the delight of Lloyd Morgan in the foreground, the quarters would now be free of a third elephant herd cluttering up the place

You may notice that the Capt. remains outside on the ground until all elephants loaded.
Nothing more embarrassing than having someone yell from outside, "Hey Cap!, Babe just took off!.
