Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
.....had my father opted for other venues in show business, might I not be a circus owner today?
This must have been taken during your dad's Hagenbeck-Wallace stint. A side of this old Bode-built wagon survives in Peru. The wagon is generally called the Elk and Buffalo and was only on Hagenbeck and Hagenbeck-Wallace.
Really fascinating that the wagon's carvings still survive. Even with changes, it is still magnificent. Jackie LeClaire
