This was the second year for the Miller-Woodcock elephant act and my folks stopped by the Kelly-Miller lot enroute to another date during which time my Dad explained how much trouble he was having keeping a driver. |

Same hat as "The Plaza" doorman
But you wear it very well
"Crash Course" might not be the
best choice of titles for any
form of truck driving lessons
unless you intend to drive for
the new Feld Arena Truck Epic
You once said within a week you knew it all. Was this the day you had mastered the art or was that still a day or two off?
By the way- it's GREAT you are back on the air!
Chic said he was going to have to take some pills for withdrawal it you didn't get going soon.
At the ripe old age of 18
Which elephant is that up over
your dad's right shoulder
Crash courses in truck driving weren't confined to the KM Show. I heard Pete the Tramp tell a kid on the King Show... Get in that Truck and follow the Arrows.
I've never drove a truck before.
Put it in Grandma and go...you'll learn the gears along the way.
But I don't have a License...What if the Fuzz stops me??
TELL THEM CIRCUS FOLK ARE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE AND WE DON"T NEED DRIVERS LICENSES !
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Another CRASH COURSE on Kelly Miller was sewing canvas... when there was a blowdown everybody was handed a Palm & Needle. That's where I learned how to do a baseball stitch.
Talk about a crash driving course on Kelly Miller.
Isla Miller told me during the war years when all the guys were in the army she learned to drive a semi.
She said they drove real slow.
I just cannot imagine Isla behind a truck but they did it.
Great days of the circus
Harry in Texas
How much older was Freddy than
you Buckles (if at all)
Hi there Mystic or Frito Bandito
I'm guessing the message on my
office machine is from you & if
it is I guessed right before
I didn't go in today but I will
tomorrow (manyana amigo)
