Two of the things that will never cease to amaze me: that an elephant is capable of feats such as this and that they can be trained to do same.
In this photo you cannot see a face but I did not even look at Buckles note as the way he is standing an presenting the act it is the one the only Capt. Fred c. Logan.

This routine was something like a gymnastic exercise.
The elephant would then squeezy-squazy around and raise the opposite legs, ect. then conclude with front handstand.
Sounds like something an 83 lb

Very nice prop and routine. I recall on KM they did a display of some 8 or so single elephants doing routines and at least 2 or 3 did this.Was this a Bill Woodcock invention? seems like it. johnny
