Mayme Ward



This was taken at the New York World's Fair in 1964.
Mayme was in town to appear on "What's My Line" and Chappie asked if "Anna May" could make this pose for a beer sponsor in regard to the Milwaukee parade

You'll be amazed, and grateful, to return to the visits of great names who appeared on WHAT'S MY LINE? Look them up on YouTube. Mayme Ward's line was making elephant blankets. Many circus people have been on--Clyde Beatty, Mabel Stark, Emmett Kelly, and a young Raymond Valentine, who deeply impressed host John Charles Daly and his very sophisticated panel with his excellent manners and prime-time camera presence.
