Mr. Carrol was side show talker and big show announcer on Clyde Beatty's circus in his early days. It was suggested that he was double gaited and the story goes that he made the great Beatty Announcement culminating with and deep voice dramatics, "In the Den of fury the one and only CLYDE BEATTY" and one day after making said Ann. and thinking the mike was turned off said" Go get them pussycats Louella" Beatty was not pleased.

I won't be a spoiler on the others but not many will recognize Norman and Shirley Carroll, west coast publicity people of yore.
