Is it me (be kind Chic) or is it curious that this poster would seem to show Cliff Aeros landing in the net feet first. Now I know I haven't seen nearly as much as the esteemed Blog devotees and historians have, but I have seen any number and have never seen a human cannon ball land in a net feet first.

Dave or someone please comment.
My thanks, Paul
That's certainly never the intent
but the artist wasn't kind to the
flyer with that spread bent legs
position out of the barrel which
also would never have happened
(what would ever make you think
I might soften my snippy tone)
Another astute observation Chic, which I should have noted myself.
I really wonder who the heck drew this disaster.
PS Don't ever change.
