Looks like they had some sort of Side Show walk-around while they struck the steel.

My dad had a friend who worked in the Ringling sideshow and my parents visited him when the show played Nashville. For years thereafter my mother talked about how Jack Earle teased Major Mite unmercifully.

I recall my dad talking a lot of Jack Earl. He also gave my dad several of those lead Giant's novelty rings he would pitch. I have them somewhere.
