I met Pat on Circus Vargas and helped him get meat for the cats and he was a very gracious person to this circus fan. All those cats in that den of fury and it was one hell of a show. One of the last great fighting cat acts. Gone but not forgotten. Harry in texas
Great moments; When one of Bill Johnson's serpents would escape in the front of the cat truck and be rudely discovered by Pat on a hurried wardrobe change. Pat and his black Lincoln & Avion trailer, I remember him well. A fun gent to spend a show run with along with the Mighty Mr. Bill Johnson.
I met Pat several times during my Dave Hoover days. He was definitely a "force," but in a GOOD way! I had the privilege of observing some of his training techniques. He knew his "stuff" and it was your choice to "listen" or not... and you were the looser if you chose NOT to listen! I remember his name was ALWAYS spoken in reverence by my husband, which - quite frankly, was reserved for very few people! (...and once he warmed up to me, I heard some REALLY great jokes, too!) :-) Cindy Potter

As Parley Baer would say:
"The friendly neighborhood wild man!"
Speaking of neighborhoods. I live about two miles South of Pat's old W.Q.s
Also known in jest as Pat Agony. Anice guy. I liked him.
