Dalilah left Saturday on her vacation to spend a week in California with her cousin Dee (Hope's daughter). I go over to her house next door and take care of her dogs. She called today to see if everything was OK and I asked if she had gone to Grauman's Chinese Theater yet and she explained that she was in San Diego not LA. I can't imagine anyone going 3,000 miles to see San Diego when Ibor City is just up the road.
Chic: The Star is probably still there; I've seen it many times. You may recall Mary Jane spent her teen years in San Diego, graduated from SD High, her sister lives right up on the mesa above the bay where the Star often anchors. Great weather there too.

But, Dad, Balboa Park has not only the Zoo but a terrific planetarium.
And it's only about ninety miles
from Mexico to Cuba but the price
of rice in China is still the same
Maybe you could train a mixed dog
act out of all those family pets
Balboa is a terrific park & it also
has the Old Globe Theater Dave
I believe the barque rigged ship
"Star Of India" is still down at
the waterfront which is where we
rigged Elvin's trapeze on a yard
overhanging the water for the Imax
filming for the CW park
Speaking for those of us who live in San Diego...Dalilah could not have picked a better place to spend her time.
